This show will be all about my versions / phases of Action Art and the series of works that were created.
Liquid acrylic paint ( also known as Acrylic ” inks ” ) is spilled or dripped on a horizontal laying canvas. Water is sprayed and rubbing alcohol is thrown to add to the flow . In my next blog, I will explain the process in greater detail.
The February show will feature works that document my Action Art phase. This spans the period between 2008 and the present . There will be 8 pieces from the “space” phase, 9 pieces from the ” color splash ” phase , and 4 from the most recent ” bowl ” series.
